On March 31, 2026, the Claude Code source code leak shocked the entire developer community. When we deeply analyzed the 512,000 lines of leaked TypeScript code, we discovered an unsettling fact: Claude Code was systematically collecting user device fingerprints—640+ telemetry events, reporting every 5 seconds.
As a team long focused on user privacy, we decided to take action. The CC-Gateway project was born, representing our deep commitment to digital privacy.
We believe privacy is a fundamental human right. Privacy protection is the primary consideration in every feature design.
Code is completely open source. Users can audit every line of code and understand how the system handles their data.
